High altitude drag racing, Times?

Hey guys, im new to drag racing and went for the first time last week, still working on my launch but the local drag strip is over a mile up in thin power robbing air, what are you guys getting on your stock 1000's?

I know im new to drags but i feel like i should still be going faster, my best run was [email protected] with a 2.1 60'

here is an 11.9 run, im learning...

Just for comparison sakes, I did a quick correction to show what your time and ET would be at sea level instead of your 5280 ft. At sea level you would be around [email protected] MPH or so keeping all other things equal. Just be patient, keep pracitcing and your times will improve.

stock wheelbase you can easily get you 60' into the 1.80 range without the bike wheeling. with some practice you can do 1.6-1.7. but like micron05rr said just keep practicing and you times will improve. make sure you are getting full throttle as fast as you can. i dont know what the altitude is where i live but my bike stock did 9.92 at 144. but that is alot better air then where you are at. but at 126 mph you should be able to get it down to the 10.6 or 10.7 range.

I can't belive they let you run in jeans your crazy LOL but when I ran my 08 stock I got [email protected], but from what I can see is keep both feet on the ground get up as far forward on the tank as you can and that will help you get your 60's down...but as far as shifting everybody has there own way I stay WOT and clutch and shift neverletting out the throttle...but pretty much the same elevation as you as well so you should easliy be able to get 10.5's
