getting the 07 ready for track openings

my son matt and i spent last couple of days working on his 07. dropped engine out, redegreed 08 race int. from 110.5 to 108, stk. ex. cam from 106.5 to 104.5 as we we're hitting rev limiter with power still climbing with original setting, will strenghten bottom and midrange and hopefully be all in before limiter now. all valves were within .001 of each other, plugs looked good so tightened up gap for nitrous, dwayne at cycle concepts was helpful in choosing the right clutch and discussing gearing. ordered dragpac with several different spring combinations and 530drz2 drag chain. engine back in almost finished, uping the nitrous jet two sizes, retuning on different fuel and reprogramming nos mini to bring nitrous in quicker at a little higher start percentage. also extended axle slots on adams arm 2 inches, turned the alu. axle blocks around, drilled, retapped for new axle adjusting bolts, looks great and was able to pickup almost 2 inches in wheelbase with chain adjusted. installed new vortex black cat 5 530 rear sprocket also. feel like we have resolved some issues we discovered on our first two nitrous passes. we're looking foward to a good test and tune day and getting dialed in for next year. good racing guys.

40% ramping up in 1.3 sec. need some runs to dial in, starting over 50% in 1.0 sec. and going from there. not going long, 67 in max. good luck with your build cook, turbo's are top of the food chain set up right. nitrous jet will be 36 max on gixxer spraybar. think we can go prety fast and keep it safe there. doing a few other little things to stabalize the bike and get consistent. goal is to look like a street bike, be a streetbike, stay relativley short, run good for what we are, matt and i have some fun.

ran the bike basically one time this year at the Manufacturers Cup in Valdolsta since buying off a board member here last November. Did some tweaking on it all year but didn't have a lot of opportunity to go to track. Will do a lot of racing this year though! Bike sits around 67 inches

chassis and motor are tweaked and done, going thru all nitrous components now, replumbing nitrous in airbox, running 36 nos jet this time, originally 32 jet. a little tuning and we'll be ready for new season. not trying to strain this bike too much, goal is to stay together and run good for what it is, a full weight, full street trim bike.

Congrats on the new setup gaz! That thing is gonna fly! I think I may have the same arm you guys have. And my tuner and I were talkin about doin that to my arm as well. There's definitely a couple inches there. Man a 36 in a spray bar is gonna make a bunch of power. Good luck to you guys. Keep us posted!
