fuel alcohol pros and cons ?

is anybody running alcohol at the drag strip in there zx10r what are the benefits
what are the cons just looking for a lil info

not worth it without extensive engine, fuel system updates. u need very high compression ratio for alcohol to be efficient, special fuel seals throughout system, high flow injectors and pump. don guhl does some alcohol/methanol conversion work with bike engines, contact him. requires much more fuel volume, impractical except for racing only. not cheap$$$.

I feel like it would be complex to do/tune on a bike, but water/meth injection, can allow you to put down identical numbers that you could on c16 race fuel. however, that might only equate to a few ponies on a bike, so probably not worth it unless your really trying to squeeze out every ounce. plus ive heard that running 87 apparantly makes more power on a bike, which still makes no sense to me.

You should call up Guhl Motors, he does a TON of alcohol kits for 600s and 1000's The trick is you need a SHIT ton of furl pump and injectors but he says you can gain 2-3 times the power mr12 gives you.
