First time in the ninja

So today was the opening weekend of the dragstrip around here.
Got my first pass ever on the ninja.
Before i had a honda 954rr and ran a 10.89 at 133mph bone stock.
My ninja is a 2005 geared and a leo vince slip one.
I weight 180 pounds dry haha.
Got my best of 10.602 @ 136mph.
Thought it was really good, i know the bike has more, but i couldnt get the front wheel to stay down. Bike is stock wheelbase and height, thinking about stretching it now

Just curious - what're you shifting at? I assume you have to shift at that trap speed. Never had a motorcycle on the track, so I'm pretty green on that topic.

What's your RT and 60ft?

Slow start but you really picked up in the end, that is a good time though. I cant wait to do a 1/4 mile track all we have is 1/8 mile in Abilene and I have the same problem keeping my front end down

youll be significantly faster if you get out of first as soon as you can and pin it in second and then hold it to redline in second on.

It's funny cos I went with my brother, just for kicks & on one of the races we were an exact tie! in the end my best beat his by 0.06 of a second.
