First outing on the new 14!

So I went and picked up a new filter and oil yesterday at lunch so I could change the oil when I got home. I had everything in my backpack and decided to stop by the shop on the way home to talk to my buddy about a couple things before the track. As soon as I got there he said i've been waiting on you! Lets throw that thing on the dyno! It was hotter than hell outside, dyno temp was 100 degrees, bike was 206 degrees on the first pull. First run he didn't hook up the tach wire just wanted to see how much horsepower it made. First pull he was like holy shit! made 193 horse on the first pull, so he found the tach wire and hooked it up and made another pull. 2nd pull made 189 horse and 112lb ft torque! I was actually really surprised as neutered I thought this thing was it wouldn't make that much.

So to the track.

Well she did pretty good! It was really hard to try to get her to be violent off the line, but once I got off the clutch and on the throttle it just wanted to wheelie. 60' is far from being there but definitely a good start. I took the stock seat off and just sat on the base of the tank. I definitely liked it better than the seat but there wasn't much to hold my ass in place. It just wasn't very comfortable. On the last/best pass once I got off the clutch and on the throttle it started to come up, so I just clicked 2nd gear and it carried the front wheel for quite a while before it finally sat back down. This thing definitely needs to be lowered. But all in all for the first time out and with the heat I think it did really well!

Man me either!! Yeah a flash is definitely at the top of the list. Just can't really afford it right now. But probably over this winter ill be able to get a flash and a pipe then see what happens.

Yeah I'm definitely trying!! Probably goto the track again tonight, but it's gonna he hot as hell again.. Bean, yeah it's literally BONE STOCK. With just the strap that I took off my 10. I'm trying to find an extra seat for it so I can shave it down. I just don't feel very planted at all just sitting on the flat part of the tank.

Went out to the track tonight and went a [email protected]!! It's getting quicker!! I think I'm gonna see about putting the weight on the front from the 10 next weekend and see if that'll help. This thing is nuts!
