Now thats a drag strip. They need to build one of those were LACR used to be... I really miss racing on Friday nights on the 10R.

It's done now, the first race is scheduled for 9/11, but I'm sure they're done now.

most people do... it gets kinda hot in the summer but folks still sweat it out.... there might be 2-3 months where people don't race, but other than it's a good area to drag race.

Damn, that is a good idea.

Will they run 4 vehicle races or just use it to move more people through faster in pairs?

Sarah Palin and friends can call it a snow machine all they want but Yamaha, Polaris and Bombardier plus the related magazines all seem to call them Snowmobiles.

Snow machines create snow on ski slopes. Just sayin'

Actually it's not. They have been a few 4 lane drag strips since the late 60's but all were closed by the early 80's. Cool to see this again...
