dual stage rev limiters

I have a 2008 zx10r, i was wanting to put a dual stage rev limiter on it, but so far I'm getting mixed answers, I've talked to several people and they're telling me different stories. I'm being told the msd launch master and the dyna drl 400 both will work and wont work. What are you racers using, all info appreciated.

Don't waste your money, I've rode several streetbikes with them and it makes them harder to ride IMO. they work great on bikes you can throw the clutch away on.

i was having a problem hearing the bike, as it was stock, but shouldn't be a problem now with exhaust, but thought it would still help with consistency

what cody said. you can get a dual mode shift light that will signal your launch rpm, but it's still in the hand and clutch setup.
