+1 this way when you decide to juice it and slap a hair dryer on it and stretch it a lil more you have the chain.

come on, I know some of you stetchers must have some concrete #S....I.E with a 525 chain front sprocket(insert Front sprocket #s 'here') and back sprocket (insert back sprocket #s 'here') I used this amount of links(insert amount of links used 'here') and my brake line was this long stetched (insert how far back from SWB 'here') Now that's not to hard to remember or do is it? I'm a SWB guy only

BTW, anyone know how far a 520 with -1/+1 on a first Gen can stretch back with 120 links...that's standard by most factory chains you can buy in the stores in a box.

I was about 8 inches back with stock 17,39 gearing and I had 136 links in a 525. I would also order a 150 an cut it to the right length that way you definetly have enough. I have a 530 now. give dwayne at cycle concepts a call he can help you out with everything you need.

Good Info. Vince.....kinda a rough estimate of what those 120 links can do in the box and thats about half(4in stretched)...just a guess but I bet it's close.

Blue go here http://www.gearingcommander.com/ load in the 04 zx-10. then in the custom box put your gearing in. then if you scroll down there is a chain geometry calculator. You will see that you can change the amount of links there. measure the distance from the center to center on your sprockets for the wheelbase you want to end up at. then just change the link # until you get the distance correct for the wheelbase your looking for.
