chain ?

I hear alot of guys chains make sounds when they leave the line like there jumping links, what make them make that sound? to tight or to loose?

My new chain only started making that noise on Friday. Thinking the same thing it must be stretching abit and loosening up.

Could be a lot of reasons your chain is making noise
1. too loose
2. a few links could be missing rollers
3. chain is old and stiff
4. sprockets could be worn down and teeth not catching completely


Also if your using a cheap chain lube it will come back to haunt you real quick.
