no metal screws, 2 lb bottle filled weighs close to 7 lbs, must be mounted safe and secure. imagine bottle loose during pass, has happened many times. good u bought a quality bracket from mps, some of the ebay chinese knockoffs have failed. with the bracket u purchased, i would drill completley thru the stk. swingarm box and mount with grade 8 1/4 bolts and nuts.

I made a bracket out of a washer, angle iron, and hose clamps, and used the tire hugger hole to bolt it up. I used to street ride with this setup without issue.

ran one kinda like that, strapmetal bent over top of stk. arm with bolts all the way thru, the bottom was bent so the weight of the bottle sat on it.
