Anyone Using a Brocks Performance or JRI Drag Shock?

Hey everyone. I was just curious as to who might be running a Brocks Performance or JRI drag shock on their Gen 4. Since my Gen 4 will be used for mostly street riding and 1/4 mile I was looking at buying one in the spring.

What are your thoughts on it?
Do you street ride? and if so how do you like it?

Your input is greatly appreciated.

My buddy has a JRi on his 2012 and I also have a JRi on my 2010. Both bikes are streetbikes and dragbikes, 1/8 & 1/4. Great shock, very light weight, easy adjustment and for only about $700 you cant beat it. It rides a little more rough on the street than a factory shock because it is stiff and on my 2010, the JRi shock likes my ride height to be fairly low to work the best. Havent had any issues at all with it though. Go for it. The brocks shock is a nice piece but you are getting pretty much the same shock for much cheaper with JRi.

^Thank you very much for the reply. I figured it would ride a bit stiffer, but that doesn't worry me to much. So long as it's nothing that could buck you off lol.

Did you just have yours setup up for weight, or did you do some finer adjustments at the track. That is the only thing I am worried about. It isnt hard to have it setup for your weight by someone that knows what they are doing, but having it work to perfection at the strip might be another story. I am quite new to racing at the strip, so any bit helps make up my launches lol until I can get some more seat time in.

Since Brocks Performance and JRI teamed up that DRAG EZ shock is basically a reworked JRI.

I haven't picked one up yet, but I am going to be going with the JRi MC/08 shock through Vance & Hines in the next few weeks. Seems like the better buy.

Awesome stuff there man
