what brand?

we used some full wet Dunlops in a rain race in '05 at Willow, and I think we used 25 or 26 cold

Call your race tire vendor.

hmmm....I think I ran the michelins and pirellis rains at around 30-32 cold as they stay cold with the wet track and never really get any heat in them.

its cold here - maybe 15deg. so i was thinking 32ish as well.

the tyres are race take offs, so cant do the tyre vendor thingy

well you could just ask a vendor to be certain. that being said most rains that are run are run at 30-32ish. I think on days when the track was soaked I would run 32 since the tires would never get any heat in them....
