While waiting for various shops to finish different parts of the bike, it is time to collect some goodies. This must be one of the best parts of any build, when you get shiny new parts... sort of Christmas every day... until my wife knows nothing about the price tags, of course.

What I got so far:
- 520 chain conversion with RK MAX Z chain and Renthal ultralight rear sprocket (going with -1/+2 gearing for now)
- Brand new (!) Akrapovic full titanium exhaust
- Brembo RCS19 master cylinder
- Race spec bolts from RaceBolt to use safety wire on brake and suspension parts.

The story of the Akrapovic system is quite funny actually. When I started to look for a good quality performance exhaust, I never thought I could get one like this, as these are not manufactured anymore for this bike. While searching on forums and Facebook groups, I found a few old posts/threads selling systems like this for crazy money, even in used condition. One day I made a search on eBay for different manufacturers (like Akrapovic, Arrow, etc.) looking for exhaust, and found a seller in the states with this system. It was $1000 plus some postage, immediately put it on my watch list. A few weeks later the seller made some discount on it, and finally I bought it for $880. The funny part of the purchase is that the exhaust was made in Europe, purchased it from US and brought it back to Europe, so paid a ton of money on import charges.

The engine has been finished in the meantime, so it went back to the bike yesterday. So far, so good, it runs fine.

Currently the stock exhaust was put back to the bike, as the Akrapovic system is off to a Ti welder guy to install 2 extra O2 sensor bungs. Also waiting for some custom made exhaust gaskets to match the new ported head. Once I got these back, it is time to do the dyno tuning and have some real numbers finally.

I was a bit busy with work and life in the past weeks, so had no time to continue writing about the build, but a lot has happened in the meantime.

The engine is back in the bike, so it was time to put it on the dyno. After three nights of hassle with various wiring issues (eg. secondary injector pins were swapped in the connectors, so the DynoJet SFM module was not working, and the bike was not revving over 10000 RPM), finally it is tuned now. It makes a healthy 190 HP and 114 Nm of torque at the rear wheel.

Also got some unpainted track fairings on the bike, so it is ready for the first track day to do some testing.

190whp in std scale at 12800???? These motors loves revving more higher. What other mods have u done to your motor?

Too high? Too low?

Only did those modifications that I already mentioned before: fully ported and flow matched head, thin head gasket, KAW32 cams, full Akrapovic system and a K&N filter.

From the dyno chart, I see that by extending the rev limiter, it would make more power most probably. The valvetrain got all new parts including brand new valve springs, so +500rpm might work, but for now I want to keep it as reliable as possible, so not touching the limiter for now.
