Racing School?

Has anyone been to the California Superbike School?
http://www.superbikeschool.com/

Thinking of going in August, just wondering if its worth it.

Save some nickles and try one of the other schools first. If you want to spend the bucks then go to Freddie Spencers school. I think you would get more out of it. Also the Spencer school is at Miller Motorsports Park

What is your level of riding experience? Have you ever done a trackday?

I've been riding for a long time, but have never done a trackday. I live in Portage Indiana, which is about an hour away from Blackhawk Farms Raceway.

I would start with the STAR Pridmore school first they travel all over the country. Check thier website see if you can hit up one of thier events. It will be money well spent.

I am with Kneedragger on this. As a matter of fact we did the Star school together. There is a lot to learn and it can get overwhelming. Some of the trackday oganizations have schools also, granted they are more of an introduction to riding on the track but they are very helpful. Take it slow you have to walk before you can run.

being in Indiana.. I would check out NESBA. they will teach you the proper ways with class room training and 1 on 1 attention on the track. That is where I started. It will save you a bunch too. They have rides at Putnam Park, Blackhawk, Autobahn etc... give them a try. You can also check out Learning Curves. They are part of Blackhawk, but mainly get you ready to get your race license.

VP fuel and me.. ..adds 5 hp..

Might be too late to let you know, but I'm signed up for the California Superbike School at VIR in September. I checked out all the schools that I'm aware of and couldn't find anyone that held a school within reasonable driving distance from me.
