Rossi has been quoted as saying he thinks the fans would rather see racing that takes one tire brand's superiority out of the equation

Every major series that has went to a spec tire has become much better racing, I for one think Moto GP has pretty much sucked this year, the tires have became too important pat of the equation.

Going to spec tires might take a little drama out of some races, occassionally you see a rider turn in a career performance overcoming problems and handicaps to take a win when the odds might have been against it. Better racing? maybe, better finishes for those who are not contracted by the hot tire teams. We'll see.

Lose the traction control and see what happens. Tires won't be as big of a deal if they can't ride without traction control.

lose the traction control would be great, but it will never happen. its to hard to enforce, as demonstrated by suzuki in ama. obviously some ride better without it, nicky hayden for one. i think the tire rule would be great. itd make it a little more even playing field. maybe someone other than rossi/stoner would win a race once in a while (like a kawi!!!!). also you wouldnt have that as an excuse! i think the racing in wsb has improved a lot since the pirelli spec deal. just my thoughts though.

So was it okay that Michelin dominated in all the years before? Simply, Bridgestone has dealt better with the rules. My guess would be since Michelin being in Europe could overnight a super tire at their will in previous years, Brigdestone being in Japan could not so now with the limited amount of tires it turns out they were better prepaired.

I think WSB is great. Tire wars help us out in the end so I think that's great but all the [email protected] complaining. Make it one tire manufacture and if their tires are Shiat then they can
