It's not a disaster, insist Yamaha.

Fiat Yamaha team director Davide Brivio was putting a brave face on his team's tough qualifying at Assen, which left Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi sixth and eleventh on the grid for Saturday's Dutch TT.

Give him a good tight track and a solid tire and let's see what he's got!!!-

0510R PCIII dyno tuned 520 X -1+2 sprockets. slip on and a few other Knick Knacks filter plugs emissions dyno tune. And 20,000 miles of learning on this one anyways.

Looks like a 45 rpm vinyl record on the top of helmet from what I can see.

Maybe in reference to his record number of wins or championships.

Bike has some Italian flag in it and maybe fiat wants him to REALLY stand out.

Or maybe it coresponds with some event over there/ special scheme

I know that I read that Rossi didn't want to be a part of promoting smoking, even having camel as a sponsor again

It's a retro theme. If you look close at the bike there is some other references to a dance I hear Cave men did called "the swing" And some famous singers names like this one guy that sang before tires were made of rubber and Cars didn't have navigation systems called "elvis?" It must have been interesting back then having concerts before electricity!

lol ok just kidding I'm not that young or stupid but Fiat has this whole theme. We'll see how long before Rossi throws a fit and rides Kawasaki!!!!
