Thumbs down Cornerspeed Never Again

I was suppose to go to BeaveRun this past weekend and do a track day up there. Well it got cancelled due to the weather so I went to Carolina Motorsports Park (Kershaw) with some friends and did the track day with Cornerspeed. I am not as mad now as I was on Friday. We only got in four sessions all freakin day. It was the worse track day i have ever been to in my life. Since we didn't we didn't pre register we had to pay like $235 do run that crappy track. We got one session in before lunch and 3 in the afternoon. There were quite a few wrecks but there weren't moving the day along that quick and I really feel that we got screwed out of this deal. Usually I run track days with team promotion and I thought I would try a differant group. This was a very bad choice and I won't do it again. I know that some people on this board do track days with them. Is it always a crash fest with this guys? over

I did a track school with Cornerspeed and don't remember having any problems or shortage of track time. Aaron Stevenson seems like a good guy...I'd maybe shoot him an email or call him and politely tell him what happened and how you feel and who knows, maybe he will hook you up next time? Just a thought--

Wow that sucks. I know Aron personally and he is a good guy. That's crazy only getting 4 runs in especially for that amount of money. Why was the runs delayed so much? Was anybody hurt that had to be transported or something? There shouldn't be much of a delay unless the ambulance had to leave then they can't run til the ambulance gets back.

First thing in the morning in the racer group, it was like 45 degrees out, tracks cold and a guy goes out and has a bad wreck and gets life flighted. every group after that there was a red flag for atleast 20+ min...i was just very disapointed...I would like to go to jennings...give me a months notice and maybe we can make it down that way

For some reason silly stuff like that seems to happen at CMP. I have been there several times. Twice in one day riders wrecked in turn 1 on the first lap, right out of the pits. Cold tires + hauling ass in sharp turn = crash. Some people don't seem to realize that. It usually isn't the novice group doing the stupid stuff either odly enough.
