Back Protector? Is this any good?

Wanted to pick up a back protector but was not sure if it was any good. I tried it on the other day at a local shop and seem to fit and it was 100 bucks. Just wanted some feed back before I bought it.

I would say stay away from IICON, but if you are on a budget some type of protection is better than none. Please dont be that Jackass that wears this over a sweatshirt and thinks he looks fucking kewl.

GEN 4: Brembo HP calipers, Brembo HP T-Drive Rotors, Brembo RCS master cylinder, Fren Tubo SS lines, re-valved Ohlins damper, Ohlins TTX shock, Yoshimura case covers/frame sliders, Yoshimura 3/4 R77D Ti exhaust, BMC filter, Puig DB, Renthal Clip ons/sprockets, attack rearsets, Guhl flash, kawi kit throttle, Ballistic EVO2 8 cell, Annitori RL quick shifter, Dunlop rubber.

Its decent I wear mine when its really hot out as well as the elbow guards. Not as much protection as the jacket but better then nothing.

Been wearing a Forcefield Pro L2 back protector..for my last 8 track days

Highly recommended.

Not the cheapest but I won't go cheapo on racing gear.

I think it was Iron pony that had Knox back protectors for $80 and teknic for $60. This was at mid-ohio during the AMA races but I don't see them on there site. You might try calling though.

Going through life with blinders on and lovin' it.

Surprising to hear that it was optional at a track day...

yeah They only check to see if you have some type of pad in the suit or jacket. But now they are starting to make people wear them.
