Exclamation Attn Canadians, Calabogie Motorsports

My roomate and I have been thinking about coming up and doing a trackday at Calabogie Motorsports Park http://www.calabogiemotorsports.com/ Have any of you been to this? how far is it from the falls? I am from norther PA about 45 min southeast of Erie. Just trying to get an idea on the time. How did you like the track?

The track is about 30 minutes north of me and I can make niagara falls in about 5-6 hours if I don't get any traffic in Toronto (rare).

I've been to the track but haven't ridden on it yet. It's pristine. The layout is long and fast. Some people say that there are some trees and rocks too close to the track. Personally I tend to ride on the track rather than in the bushes so I doubt it will bother me much.

I've heard the pavement is smooth as glass.

I can't wait to get up there myself. If you make it up let me know maybe I'll swing by.

Ok, it looks like a 14 hour drive from here in North Carolina. Do you know if you have to have a passport to cross the border or does that begin next year?

According to that you can still get in by land until June 1st '09 with only proof of citizenship and photo ID.
