Well, we won't know for sure until next season. But I don't think the 1200cc twins will have much if any advantage over the 1000cc fours. At least I don't believe that it will be as bad as it use to be when it was 1000cc twins against 750cc fours...

If you watched today, its already pretty even, 200 extra cc's will make it the Ducati Cup again, just wait Just when WSB was on its way back up, some great racing the last couple of years, they are going to f it all up again.

Ducati should spend some of their hard earned money on developing an inline 4 if they want to compete..plain and simple.

So who cried first? Ducati or the Japanese?? The Japanese use to run 750cc fours after all.

If the FIM had been paying attention, they should have stopped the twin limit at about 940cc. There was good close racing then. And we'd probably have more 750cc choices today instead of just Suzuki...

I am probably mistaken, but I believe Ducati is going to be giving up some of the "kit" parts that they currently are allowed. So the 1200 will be at a lower state of tune than the current 999. It'll still be fast...

Hopefully KTM brings a 1200 next year.
