Where? There is good and bad just like anywhere. I have a friend that lives there and his riding season starts when mine ends. He says summers are way too hot, 110's on a regular basis. So he rides in the winter. Plus he lives in the Phoenix area and says traffic sucks big time and you have to drive 50+ miles to hit twisties. All second hand info so take it for what its worth. I used to live on the East Coast though and highly support getting out of that area. Crazy, stupid, gun laws you got there in Jersey in particular. Any way good luck in you new hometown search.

Haha!!!!! Give me a shout when you make it. Fort Collins rocks! Great riding, just have to watch the weather in the canyons during late fall through early spring, but out east its always pretty nice even in the winter, between storms. The economy is fair around here lately but the job market is tight for sure, you may have to have a few "in-between" jobs till the right one comes along. Anyway if you have any Fort Collins specific questions hit me up. Ed

Well I have been in this place for almost 39 years and I can tell you how I feel about it. Winters Nov 1 - May 1. Great weather for riding. Rest of the time it is 100+. You do have to ride a ways but it can be done. Don't expect to make any money here. My friends from PA and NY seem to love the weather but I'm getting sick of it myself. The tracks are not the best but still it is better then no track so...... Traffic is not that bad unlike Cal which sucks ass. I'm in Chandler but it is all Phoenix really. Look into Gilbert San tan area of your going to move here. Tucson is a shithole. Always has been and always will be. Has to do with the location of another country real close. Tempe TY on here is a nice guy and his wife as well. RicerocketMike A.K.A Grampa as he is known on the other forum will try to have a opinionas well. They will chime in soon I'm sure.

We do ride near year round. I live in Tucson. The key is that we go early or late and get our riding in. There is alot of good riding out here. Some fairly close and more further away. I can't speak about the job market because I'm military and have a stable job. We have some very good bike shops that really take pride in their work and know what they are doing. Good luck in your decision and hit me up if you make it to Tucson.

Economy is down right now and it depends on what you do for a living.

You can ride in summer easily...you start early and head north where it is usually 20 or more degrees cooler and where the twisties are.

It does take time to get to the twisties but the scenery is worth it.

Traffic cams are easily avoided/evaded/ and bypassed.

Traffic is a bummer sometimes but not that bad.

If you miss snow drive 2 hours north in the winter where they have skiing as well.

Grand Canyon is close and is worth a hike.

I'm from Indiana and have lived here for 10 years and I like it.
