Portland Ore newbie checking in

Just found this site while searching for info on what bike to buy next. Been riding off and on for 15 years, mostly sportbikes (learned on a Gixxer 750) but have ridden dirt more than a few times too. Still trying to decide what I want but the ZX10R is currently leading the pack by a huge margin, just not sure what the long term riding comfort is like for someone bigger, i.e. 6'3" 235lbs, and I can't justify spending 10K on something that kills my wrists/back/knees after 20miles. Any of you 10R owners in my size range who have feedback would go along way twards making me ante up with the cash.

Welcome Iridium.
As you are aware, any sportbike gives up some comfort features. The 10r will give you some bar buzz which can be mostly worked out. Otherwise, it is a pretty comfy ride.

Sounds like you may be using it for street use. I too am of a different ht/wt # than you listed. Have fun in your decision.

W.F.O.ing with style will bring life back into focus
