New ZX10 owner from Aus

Hey guys!

Bit of background on myself. I got my licence about 2 years ago. As we are power/weight ratio restricted my first bike was a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300. I enjoyed my time on the Ninja but ultimately decided when i could get off my restriction i wouldn't buy another Kawasaki due to the poor quality of the 300.

When it came time to upgrade i bought a 2013 Honda CBR1000RR in Repsol colors new from the dealer. I loved my blade and had intended on keeping it for a long time however life doesn't always go as planned and i wrote it off about 2 months ago (i wasn't hurt at all because gear is awesome).

While waiting for my insurance payout to come through i had some time to look around at other bikes. So i test rode everything i could, and to be honest i always avoided the ZX10 because i considered it too ugly. I test rode a BMW s1000rr and loved it, but was out of my price range and considering that people always compare the s1k to the ZX10 i took one out and immediately fell in love with it. I even think the ZX10 is good looking now, completely won over.

SO I bought a used one, I am still waiting for it to be delivered as i bought it interstate.

Here are its mods and a pic from the sale advert

Come with:
PCV with o2 optimizer(?).
Annitori QS
Ohlins ttx mach 2 rear shock
akrapovic titanium exhaust system
Radguard
Pazzo levers
Fender eliminator
1/5 throttle insert

Bought for it:
Zero Gravity DB Dark smoke screen
Woodcraft Frame sliders.

Optimizers are connected in between the 02 sensor and ecu! With Aussie 10Rs word has it you need it to be able to dyno tune your ride properly! I trying to remember how it works but it has something to do with your a/f settings in lower based rpm throttle settings, do a search on here good info! I have also installed it on mine

Sounds about right to me, the ex owner said it was required in order for it to be tuned.

It made 197hp on the graph i have but i am very skeptical of that number seeing as it doesn't have the stock baseline on it. I have it booked in for a power run at my local workshop so will see how much it makes there.

Dyno numbers are just that bro! It's how the bike runs is the ultimate ending! That's huge hp figures tho but as long as your happy that all that matters

Got the bike back on the dyno today here at my local shop, it made 181hp and 93nm torque which is much more realistic. Happy with those numbers!

Yes these numbers are great and in the ballpark of what is a pretty healthy and honest HP reading! 170-180 HP ish that's a figure I've seen over the last 3 years for a gen4 with cat/ slip-on air, how does the seat dyno feel man?

The guy pretty much "cleaned" up the air fuel ratio for me. He tried to make more power by leaning it up as it was running pretty rich, however it lost power the leaner we made it. I'm happy knowing its rich as i would prefer longevity over power. It does feel smoother i must say!
