New Purchase 2008 ZX-10R

I now have a bike again, since an accident totaled my ZX-14.

I walked into the dealership "just to look" at the bikes. I ended up buying a blue 2008 ZX-10R! I made a $7499 offer on a new bike, and they accepted it! Go figure!

I installed a battery tender and spools. I have sliders, but it looks like I need to do some cutting. I found the info, just need to make a sharp bolt or borrow some sort of laser pointer to line up the cut.

I found the Service Manual online.

Next is a smaller front sprocket, looks like a 16T. Then the Speedohealer.

I will be adding a PC and an exhaust sometime soon. I was thinking of getting the PC first and try a map, is that useless on a stock bike?

..... to the forum man...and we wanna see that sweet new ride! and IMHO even a bone stock sportbike will show and-or feel some sort of gains and/or a "smoothness" in the on/off throttle and even better once the mods n custom maps start coming in!!! Enjoy man!!!!!

Here are a couple pics of my bike!

Yesterday, I went on a 240 mile ride from Sacramento to Lake Berryessa, Aetna Springs, Middletown, Clear Lake and back to Sacramento. A pretty good trip. Weather was great. A CHP layed down spike strips to catch a Porche east of Berryessa.
