New kid on the block, wanna say hello

Whats up guys Im new to the forum and i got sum things to ask about ur 06 zx10rs. First off i got a 2006 R1 but im having doubts about if this is the bike i want. I wanna no how ur bikes perform in 2nd gear to 6th in lower rpms. If im in 4th gear at 4,000rpms on my bike and i gun it it struggles and bogs till about 7-8 grand were it starts to feel powerfull. My ? is u guys with the 06s does that happen to u? or does your bikes just take off ?

The 06 has a fantastic linear power curve. Strong power anywhere once out of the bottom.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Strongest bottom end bikes are gsxr's and hondas. Though the zx10 still feels alot better in the bottom than the yamaha. the tre mod on the zx10 makes it feel very powerful down low. gear your bike down and you will like it more. The yamaha is still a very nice bike. I like them all.

mmmmmmmmm not quite, the CBR is not a bottom end performer, well no better than the zx10 or R1 for that matter howeverthe g1k as always is.

I rode a 06 gsxr 1k and i could get the wheel up in 2nd n 3rd gear with just doing a power wheelie starting at 5-6 grand. I try that on my bike and it pops yup in 1st at 5grand, but then in 2nd its comes up just a little bit at around 9-10 grand. I no sum of the problem is prolly me but im just saying i did it easy on the gsxr and i was on the bike for 20mins.
