Just bought 2006 ZX10R. Love this bike. Anyone else have one?

Give me time, my '04 is up for sale, and they haven't arrived properly in Australia yet.

Thanks for the Welmcome

Just wanted to post and say thanks for the welcome to your community. I just sold my first ever sport bike, my Honda CBR600RR, and upgraded to what I assume is a bike that is well beyond my capabilities. However, I am older and much more cautious than I was when I was in my 30's. My Honda was the first bike I ever owned and I thought it was FAST! Boy was I wrong!! I hope you all get a chance to enjoy the new ZX10R, as I was so proud to be able to afford to buy the first one to come into the show room here at Redline Power Sports in Myrtle Beach, SC. A few comments on the new bike: The bike is much more comfortable than the 04 CBR600RR AND more fun to ride. I was under the impression that only die hard track folks could appreciate the bike. BUT, this bike is fun to ride slow or fast. I can't wait to take it for a long ride to see what it can do on a long trip. I feel that this bike can be fine for all types of riders. I do NOT recommend this bike to young riders who are inexperienced riders, as the tendency to investigate it's potential would lead to dire concequences.

Thanks again.

Kevin, a newly converted Kawasaki rider!!

Funny you should mention the comfort factor. I used to own a CBR954RR and I found the ZX10R heaps better for comfort and longer trips. I think it's got alot to do with the bit of paint they call a seat on the Hondas though.
