New here but not new with the zx10r

Hi all
Let me introduce myself I bought my first zx10r a nice gen 1 back in 2010.
I realy enjoyed this bike but I was stupid enough to sell it 2years later for a 2010 zx6r...
Not that the zx6r is a bad bike but after riding it for 1.5 year I wanted to get back to 1000 and sold it a few years later I bought back the exact same zx10r I sold before
It was in rough shape not maintained properly been crashed but I got it cheap...
I spend a year getting it better than it ever was big service new plastics upgrading suspension get full system on it some nice wheels etc etc.

I also ride track and after many years riding dated bikes I was kinda curious about how the newest gen would be so In januari I bought myself a nice used 2016 zx10r winter edition my first time I realy spend that much of my hard earned cash on a bike.

About a month back riding on the road I had a big crash and totalled my new zx10

I barely ridden it at all I dont even have one pictue of myself on the bike never did a trackday or whatever its pretty sad and I am also badly injured broke my neck and I will be home for a couple more months.

My plan is to get my wrecked bike back and rebuild it myself for next year for trackdays only...

My gen 1 is still in the garage and I am trying to sell my current gixxer k5 1000 trackbike to get some funds to rebuild the new 10

Sorry to hear of your crash. Glad to see you are not letting it get you down and already thinking about rebuilding it.

Yeah its been a month now bike is still with the dealer cant wait to tear it down and build it back up the way I want it.
The trackbike Suzuki parts are selling better than expected so far but will be a few more weeks or months that I will be able to work or ride so I just keep calm for the moment.

Been riding 13 years and its my 2nd time I have serious injury I actualy am very lucky I am still allive I just missed a big tree and a wall during my slide before flying in a ditch breaking my neck.

I was not riding superfast but on a road I was not familiar with and there was a huge crack in the middle of the road there was a slight bent and I was just starting to turn in not breaking or leaning over or anything and my front wheel was at the wrong place wrong time I was on my ass before I even realised what was happening.

At the moment Insurance and lawyer are busy trying to claim all my medical and materiall losses through insurance of the state for having realy dangerous bad roads no warning signs
etc...
