New guy from MI

Coming off an R6 that was stolen from me a few weeks. Was looking into getting a 1k anyways. Just didnt think it would be a zx as im a yamaha guy. But after doing a little research it seems i made the right choice. 08 with 5700 miles owned buy a 52 year old guy with all maintenance done and proven. New tires. M4 exhaust with cat removed. And some other stuff. Only things i think im gonna do is -1 front sprocket and an ecu flash. Im sure there has to be some flash gurus on here. Anyone point me in the right direction?

Welcome to the party!

ZX10RArcher is your flash guy, but you better get it in and under the gun this week!

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

Reading that post about his lawyer if you send him a payment before April 26th he can do your flash. I would send him a pm just to clarify. He is extremely informative and always goes the extra mile on any questions you may have.

Just responded Ryan. If you need anything or clarification shoot me a PM.

I am also able to give you discounts on Woolich Racing equipment (think Power Commander on steroids) that will essentially let you flash the ECU yourself (I would give you guidance as well) and do things like add the new launch control and quickshifter.

If you go with a large package like the autotune solution (Woolich Racing Log Box) and the quickshifter set up (Woolich Racing Race Tools) I can get you an ever deeper discount. I know it may be more money up front but I always like to give people options.

Bike doesnt have a Power commander or any fuel management. It would all be handled by the ecu flash. As far as i know it doesnt need any with an ecu flash correct? I ran my R6 that way as well. The bike has a k&n and the m4 exhaust obviously with no cat.

Right. The Woolich Racing equipment would be your fuel management. It reuses the stock hardware on the bike and essentially turns the stock ECU into an adjustable fuel controller. No add on boxes and stuff like Dynojet, Bazzaz, etc. So that was just another option I was giving you.

And I do put in fueling for you to help along with the flash. So you wouldn't need a fuel controller, but it doesn't hurt to at least run it on the dyno just to monitor the AFR after the flash. Just for the peace of mind to ensure everything is running right. Most shops I've worked with in the past charge $50-75 for this.
