Smile New to forums and hopefully get my 10 soon.

Well first off let me say im 18, no flames please. I've been riding motorcycles since i was around five years old. Mainly dirt bikes but a Cbr 600 track back for the past around 2 years. I've also been riding my baby, 1968 triumph bonneville 650 twin for the past two years on the street. So i have experience and when i turned 18 my parents basically cant stop me from buying a new bike. I knew i wanted a liter bike so i had around four to choose from. Went to each dealership and sat down on each and tested riding position. In the end the zx10r was by far the best fit for my personal body type. On top of that i love kawasaki, i still have my kx 500 after 11 years, hauls ass still to!. Well i hope i dont get flamed to much because of my age. I have experience unlike most "rich" kids that go out and get the latest greatest shit just because their parents will pay for it. (im buying my own thank you very much) Well just wanted to shout out and say hey and i hope to be out riding soon in a few weeks!

-Now i just fear the insurance rates, anyone suggest a company?

Age is not an issue...I logged 40.000+ miles on 3 bikes between the ages of 16 to 22...then f...... dry spell of about 20 years, bought an '05 10 4 months ago, took it easy first couple of months though.

True age isnt the issue but i posted a few posts on the R1 forum and well all i got was flamed. After poking around the forums for a few days now the members seem much more mature and that is always good in my books. I consider myself very mature i work 32 hours a week and i graduated two years early and most of my friends are over 23 and even though they arent immature they are sure a hell of a lot more mature then the people i use to be friends with when i was in highschool. College rocks. Also thanks man!

You won't find an age issue here..most are mature here and even the youngens are mature here beyond their age so not an issue..enjoy the site.
