Just stepped up!

Hello all!

Elliot from Trinidad in the Caribbean. Been riding for about 4 years now and just stepped up from an 05 636 to an 06 10R I love it! Low revving beast - chalk and cheese compared to the 636! Looking to do some mods in a few months - side pipe, PC III, TRE, gutting the cat, etc but for now, I'm just loving the extra horses (compared to the 636).

In Trinidad we have some nice cross country roads. Up in the North we have some tasty twisties with breath-taking scenery! Will definitely post some pics in the near future! Oh yeah! The weather is fabulous year round! Even when it rains - it's warm and the roads dry quickly!

Happy to be here!

You should try the 16T front sprocket and speedohealer too.

Welcome and congrats on the 10! Trinidad sounds like a paradise.. Wouldn't mind living in a place where it's nice all around.. Read around about all the possible MODS.. Lots of good stuff to do.

Thanks guys!

I have been looking at possible mods for the 10R since last year and I'm quite impressed! My 636 was mildly modded: K&N filter, Factory Pro V-Stacks, Cobra FI 2000, Akra Ti Slip-on, Jumper mod, 12000K HID's, Puig race screen, plus some other bits: She ran better than any other 636 I encountered but some dude on an 07 GSX-R 1000 blew past me while I was accelerating thru 160MPH: made me feel like I was in reverse! (How rude was that!?) and ever since, my beloved 6 felt...well...inadequate!

I know there's always gonna be someone faster but It ain't gonna be easy for 'em the next time around! :o)

Nutter34: I hear you - already looking into a 520 conversion 16T front and 42T rear with a healer and GI pro with ATRE! (Can't wait!)

Rkwaki: Have you ever been to T&T? If not - put it on your list! I'll attempt to arrange a ride for you for your stay too!

Bullshark: Yeah - it's pretty decent here! Tell me - I was looking at the Barracuda s/o side mount - do you know of anyone with an effective PC III map for it?
