Intro

I'm near Seattle,
and last week bought my new sex baby, 05 ZX10R with 1500 miles on it :)
I have never owned my OWN bike before, and used to ride a 150CC auto piece of chinese crap.
But this baby is mine....went to MSF and passed with a 250cc, and now I am up to this 998cc beast, barely fit on it.

Pic is of my girl and my baby, just after we went to go spend mula on gear that fits and will protect her. I have graduated from squid school :).

to the forum bud!!! you've came to the right place and there's ALOT of good people, great info and tips, plus enough odds n ends for entertainment to keep ya busy for weeks!! on a side note though it's good to see you got your girl dressed out in some good gear. nothing i hate worse that to see a passenger with nothing on but clothes and maybe sunglasses. :headshake

Why thank you, thank you. It would make sense to go to a forum focused on the bike I have to learn about it

BTW, my bike is completely stock, and I don't know crap about modding cars or bikes, I just ride and let someone else fix it :).

Keep honking, I'm reloading

Take it easy till you get use to the bike and I would put a steering damper on it. The gen 1 could be a beast. Stay safe.

Don't take life too serious, no one gets out alive.

Can I be supplied with a link to a bar stabilizer? Not too expensive, but good enough? What else would I need? Keep in mind, I am trying to get the most MPGs out of this, I ain't that rich, and I ain't a speed psycho
