hello everyone

New to the kawi game. I've always been a Honda guy but I was too interested in seeing what this bike can do and I just luv the 2011 and up design. Just joined hoping to learn how to make this bike more of a beast for these streets cause all beamers must get smoked!!!!!

Welcome, same here. I recently came from a Honda (long time Honda fan actually). Had been racing my 08 1000RR and now on the ZX10R and so far I love it!

Welcome to the dark side haha.....

Ask away with any questions, if the bike is a USA model and not flashed.... your in for a nice surprise.

EDIT: Looks like it has the boombox and stock gearing so im thinking the ecu is probably not flashed as well.

Yes it's a USA model 2012 bone stock. I'm looking to buy a competition werkes slip on and flash the computer. By the way where can I get this done? I'm still debating on which tires to run I live in New York so the roads aren't as smooth. And what do you think about quickshifters?

and nice looking machine ya got there.. i really like the black and red...

i have m4 street slayer carbon on mine and i really like it.. it is loud if you like that and looks good.

i just got my 2013 zx10r last month and have been looking into flashing mine also.. many people say woolich flash is way to go.. and it looks like they have good support.. that is probably the way i will go.. there website is Woolich Racing - ECU Flashing for Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha or you can get in contact with zx10rarcher from the forums.. you may want to search forums there is a dedicated post for woolich flash some good info in there.

and tires you can ask every person and they will likely give a different answer.. personally ima wear out these stock tires battlax and then probably go with some 2ct pilot powers.. i have them on my k9 gixxer and love them.

quickshifter = yes please! =)
