Hello from Alberta

Just registered and thought I'd say hello.
I traded up from an '07 GSX-R 750 to a 2011 race prepped ZX-10R (Fireman69's old race bike). Pretty pumped to get a few laps in on her, and learn a few things from the guru's on this forum.

Glen.

Couple pics...

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking 750 you had there, but I'm sure you will love the 10R.

Thanks!
I think I'll love the 10R too. Gotta learn gp shift, but I'm sure it won't take too long.

I've been thinking about going to GP shift on my street bike as well. Not necessary, but it seems like it might be fun.

Yeah, the bike came with it already set up so I'm going to give it a shot and it's an easy enough change if I can't get it dialed in right away.
I'm a bit nervous for a rushed shift situation, but I've heard it just becomes second nature pretty fast.

Welcome. Im from edmonton. You definitely got a good bike. I seen justin in action on it. I think thats the bike i got a few oem parts from that he (well echo cycle) sold me when i laid my zx10r down. Gp shift is awesome, even on the street. I did it to my zx6r in 09 and havent looked back. It fucked with my head when i picked up my zx10r from echo cycle and had to shift normal. Soon as i got home i took the linkage off of my 6r (which will be my track bike) and tossed it on the 10r
