Goodbye R1, Hello Gen 5

Hello all from Houston, TX. Recent convert from the R1 to the Gen5. It's like coming from an Apollo rocket to the Starship Enterprise. Super quick, smooth acceleration, quickshift almost seems like cheating. Tech is amazing. Super stable in the turns. Really glad I pulled the trigger. One thing I miss is that dual exhaust sound from under the seat, but it was probably more obnoxious to the neighbors since I have listened to this one.

You want and miss that crossplane sound? Disconnect two of the coil packs. The new 10R would probably still be faster running on half the motor ;)

I kid... I kid.

Welcome to the forums and welcome to Team Green :)

Welcome to the party!

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.
