Another newb from Chicagoland

Hi all, I just wanted to post up that I recently joined the forum and am looking forward to become an active member. My name is Justin and I'm from Winfield, IL a suburb of Chicago. I just bought a new 09' copper/black ZX10R and couldn't be happier. I've had a ton of sportbikes in the past (2 CBR 900RR's, 954RR, GSXR 600, GSXR 750, GSXR 1000, SV 650, Ducati 999, turbo Hayabusa, etc...) and this is my first Kawasaki. I'm a big time trackday rider, street rider with over 60,000 miles under my belt, dirtbike/quad rider, supermotard racer.
I'm really into building bikes myself with performance as the #1 goal. I plan on building my ZX10 and I hope to use everyone's knowledge to help with the unexpected. Thanks for having me, Justin.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am loving the 10R and absolutely love the copper and black. I've never seen one, except for mine and i'm so glad I got it over the black. I have just over 200 miles on it and will be doing a trackday at Road America this Monday. So far i've got a 16T Afam front sprocket, Galfer superbike lines, and Engine Ice for it. I will also be changing the oil with an OEM Kawi filter and Spectro standard oil to get rid of the break-in oil. After 1,000 miles, I will be switching to Amsoil or Royal Purple full synthetic. I'm still up in the air on the OEM 016's or switching them out for some DOT race tires. A good friend runs extremely quick lap times on the 016's so I might give them a shot for the bikes first trackday at a more sensible pace.
