Resolved: site sponsors

What is the deal with these old sponsors that are no longer active?

What's the deal with not using the correct forum?

Not sure what you are asking though. Sonsors pay to have themselves listed as a sponsor (advertisment). Nothing says they must have an active presence on the forum. At least that's my take. Maybe admin will chime in.

It's just advertising, a necessary evil of a lot of businesses. We've had non active sponsors on this board since I set up the banner software back in '05.

Basically everything that was said above. Sponsors on the forum pay to advertise on the forum by communicating with the community. We do not have any requirements for them when it comes to sales, user activity, or posts. We do however expect that they will treat forum members and staff with respect as you guys are the customers.
