Initial tests of iOS 5.0.1 show the battery issue being fixed. Should be out soon.

I know, I read about that. And when I asked apple tech support they had no knowledge on it and I said well I saw this all over the net and on CNN, etc and he said, well don't believe the rumors etc. lol.
WOW, I was amazed how the left hand doesn't know the right.
I have turned so many functions off on mine and it is still HORRIBLE.
Some I didn't need, like blue tooth, unnecessary locations, brightness half way down, the auto time zone updater, etc and took it to the apple store for them to check it out. Even do the battery conditioning regularly by running it down all the way and then a full charge. After a full charge at %100 in a few hours of little use it goes to %90-%95 used.
Hope the new update fixes this. Why can't they just come out with a new phone with out obvious bugs. Make the phone, hold it in every possible way to see if calls get dropped, watch power levels, check connection etc..
Well at least siri is awesome and useful.
