ZX6R vs ZX14R Calipers

Is there a difference between the two or are they identical?

I found some locally for 90$ off a 07 ZX6R. Wondering if I should go ahead and do that or shop around a bit more for ZX14R calipers if they're better.

Thanks.

The earlier 6r had Toxico Calipers though. Only the later ones with Nissin. The 08 10 r rad master is the same as the 07 6r as well

06-08 ZX-14 and 07-08 ZX-6 have the exact same Nissin calipers - you can't go wrong with either. I would definitely jump on that set for $90, its a great deal.

Couple of POSSIBLE reasons why you never heard of it:

You NEVER read through the forums.
You NEVER searched through the forums.
You NEVER asked other zx-10r members.

Upper Right part of the this page, there's a "Search Link"
click that, then come back with the answer.

Thanks

Absolutely brilliant braking with the nissins. The transformation is undeniably top stuff. If you are running the original calipers (gen 1 and 2... not sure about gen 3) your brakes are crap. I was a sceptic myself, but was not happy with the brakes. Did the calipers, 08 10r radial master, and braided lines. These brakes will stop a truck

or there probably is another reason i havent heard of it is because i have never cared to read about breaks until now.. ive been more interested in the horespower considering my bike had 265rwhp stage 2 velocity turbo kit.. and i can read, its not that hard to find a search button ive used it plenty of times for turbo questions not brakes, and id say thats why i posted in this to ASK another 10r member...
