ZX14 Caliper conversion questions?

I finally found a reasonable deal for a set of ZX14 calipers for my 04 10R.

I have a set up HEL braided lines for my 10R that I have yet to install. Will they also work with the 14 calipers?

Will the 10R mounting bolts will work with the 14 binders?

I would love recommendations on a good street performance brake pad for the 14 calipers on the 10R. I do not do track days, only street riding so I want to avoid any pads that need to heat up before they start performing.

Thanks!
Greg

yes banjo bolts (length/thread size & pitch) will be fine and so will length of the lines as hole is higher up on caliper body.
stock pads i found fine for street use / fast road riding - remember they were perhaps designed for a heavier bike so should be an improvement on the ten...

Thanks for the info. The 14 stock pads were completely soaked with brake fluid when I got the package, so I am gonna replace them. I figured aftermarket pads would be nearly as cheap as OEM and maybe better. Any suggestions there?

the zx14 cals are my next mod on the list besides a new paintjob!.........I have the galfer rotors, and stainless braided lines, and pads.the calipers will complete the upgrade..........but i think I am gonna go with versah pads...heard many good things about them!.

I have the 14 calipers with stock pads Stainless braided lines and the 14"s Master Cyl. It is night and day difference from the stock stuff! One of the best mods I've done to my 04 10r.
