ZX10r With 28,000 what?

Just picked up another ZX10 as some of you know. I'd like to do some general checking and maintenance before i take her for a real good spin. So while it's still winter here, apart from the obvious oil change, what else should i look at doing?
I just posted another thread asking for some tips on changing the spark plugs, so hopefully i can get that base covered.

I called the dealership and they want around 7 hrs shop time plus parts. This would include spark plugs and valve checking.

I am by no means a wrench head but i know some of you are. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

clean the filter, clean the chain up and check for wear on that.

to do the valves and plugs remove the front and side fairings, tank and radiator for easiest access. do the block off mode to clean up all the hoses on top of the valve cover.

thats all i can think of right now

Check brake pads, fork seals. If the coolant hasn't been changed in the last 2 years, change it.

A quick update

Spark Plugs have been changed
K&N air filter cleaned and re oiled (i didn't know i had one)
Marchesini Mags cleaned and New pirelli dragons put on
Brembo MC reworked a little and bled.
Forks got an oil change and new seals.
oil and filter change
Coolant flushed and new stuff put in.

and the final touch was added the red rear cowl i got off ebay.

The ohlins rear shock has been removed and the stock put in so i can send it off to get recharged and a heavier spring put in.

Thanks to some good pals that did ALL this for me while i have been working stupid hrs.
All it cost me was parts and lots of beer.

So now the bike is now ready for a ride and it's my only day off, it has decided to snow again..... Fack U Canada.......Fack UUUUUUUUUU !!!!
