for sure and this side mount arm that uses the frame is $600+ dollars So for that I would make my own

Its common sense to me, I'm no master fabricator or anything but a couple bars for the stand, hydraulic pump and a couple mounts...weld done...I think if you went to a machine shop with a drawing and all the right measurements you would be out the door under 2-300 bucks!! now compare that to 600+...

for $600 bet your ass if i set my mind to it, it can be replicated.

anyone that is mechanically inclined can figure it out. it appears to work just like a high-lift jack does. now that assumption comes from just a quick glance but i think it wouldn't be that tough to build something similar.

if we can build a bike, or a house, what makes a bike stand so difficult to emulate?

and i agree, 600 bones is pretty steep for something that probably costs $50 to $75 to make. now those figures are just a guess but i bet i'm in the ballpark

all stands are cheap and retail high!! I bet money your top of the line pitbull stands cost no more then $5-10 dollars in matterial cost then labor is maybe $15 dollars...They tax like crazy!!
