Will a 3/4 slip on cause an FI light on a Gen 5?

If I install a 3/4 slip on to eliminate the exhaust, chamber under the bike and unhook/remove the exhaust valve cables but leave the servo motor cause an FI light? Searched the forum but really couldn't find anything.

you will not have any error light while the servo motor is plugged and working properly.

You can buy a servo buddy and plug it in if you want to get rid of the servo motor, or flash your ecu and disable it. The answer to your question is no, just remove the cables and the computer will think its working, as the poster above said, as long as the servo motor is working properly.
