Wheel removal?

Hey guys. I am going to remove my wheels and take them to get tires put on. Never removed wheels myself before and I was wondering if there is anything that I should know? As in tricks or important things not to do, or things to do? I just dont want to do anything wrong with the fast turning thingys that keep the rest of the bike off the pavement!

It is pretty straight foward on the back, you already know loosen the nut and remove the axel. Now the front is a bit more technical. I am at the office now so I can't help out but someone else here will chime in.

Remove the brake calipers first and the axle nut. Service Manual available on this site "search".

OK, I read a post on this and the front seems to be most difficult. Looking for some clarification on that. Also wondering about wheel alingment after, but I guess just line it up with marks.
