Well, made a new header....

Decided to make a header for my zx-10. I have never made a header of any kind so I wanted to "practice" my Fabrication.. turned out pretty good.

Nice. I hope you did (or are going to do) a before dyno as well as an after.

I'm guessing this is what you needed those measurements for? ;)

Damn good work though. My welding skills are absolute shit. I can weld just well enough to make shit worse than it was before I got a hold of it haha.

Haha, yes I dynoed before hoping to make it back soon. My welding is OK, practice makes perfect. Thanks again for the measurements.

Looks pretty good.

"The ZX-10R is capable of being perfectly docile and tractable, but few men are capable of resisting its ever-present voice urging them to just twist it and see what happens."

VERY nice job, especially for a first time, and I personally really admire you for taking it on, too few people are DIY.
ASSUMING this is a stainless header don't know if you did this but it is best to plug the ends of the tubes and back fill with argon to keep from having a very ugly oxidized slag on the inside of the weld.

This is the regulator set up and hose for purging that I use, you don't need much flow just enough to feel a positive flow out of the joints. The duel manifold is not expensive and is available at welding stores as is the inexpensive second regulator with flow meeter.
