Very slight head shake

Had the 10 out today and tried out the new 190/60 hill sold me...DAMN I love that tire Hill...Anyway I dunno if it is from sitting all winter on a kickstand (didnt have the stands yet) mabey the front tire is flat spotted.. but at about 100-120 under moderate acceleration i have a lil head shake.... It never did that before, and my tire pressures are all right on the money at 36 front and 42 rear.... Has ne one heard of or experienced it? Any help would be appreciate it

yes the 10 can exhibit some flighty frontend behavior that can turn into head shake no matter what tires are on it however the 190/60 changes the geometry a fair amount (raises the rear) so be careful. 42 cold psi is a bit high especially for a DOT race tire which i'm guessing this is.

Since this is primarily a track/race tire and those are the conditions its typically used under therefore the cold PSI range is 29-31 but since your using it for street duty try 35 and see how it feels. The lower you go with most tires the quicker it wears, hence mileage sucks.

Tire pressure for the 209GP: 30/30. If it's cold outside, 29 rear. Headshake will reduce with proper pressure, and lowering the rear a little will help a lot, too. 42psi is way too much.

did some hard riding yesterday on a favorite road, and i noticed (for the first time) so slight shake when i'd jump on the throttle coming out of corners. i had my pressures at 32/32, with the stock tires. is this normal? do i just need a damper? i've heard you can tighten the stem nut a little, what is the recommended ft.lbs? thanks guys. btw, a damper is in the works.

Na, get used to it when riding aggressive. A little twitch is a good sign that you are exiting correctly. Tells you about your suspension and exiting.
