Velocity stack idea

I know v-stack topic is beaten to death but this wasn't discussed before. Would it be worth making an aluminum or steel version of the factory stacks? Why am I asking this? Because some said aftermarket stacks sound great as much as it might have anything to do with length I also think it has to do with the material. So first reason is to improve the sound. Second reason is I might have some free time to do them myself so I won't have to pay $$$. Could I just shorten the 2 and 3 stacks a little (not much)? Or for that matter how about shortening the center 2 factory stacks a little?

Look for E-Books by David Vizard, he is a renowned engine builder and tester.

He has done a lot with just about every type of 4 cycle engine ever built, I have several books by him and they will show you and help you with your cause.
