HELP PLEASE: two masterlinks

I made a huge mistake and cut my chain too short. Is it okay to run two rivet master links on a chain or should I cut my losses and buy a new chain?

You'll get a million and one "opinions" on this one BUT even though some will say that the master link is stronger than the actual links on the chain and I have ran 2 masters before. Most will say replace the chain, I say if you're not tea jig the bike then run 2 masters and call it done.

Take a risk, and you may lose. Never risk, and you will always lose.

My bike has two on the factory RK 525 chain, I launch between 8 and 10k at the track and no problems at all.
