TRE-TPS adjustment, good or not?

Hi Guys!

I'm installing a TRE shortly and would like to hear opinions about adjusting the TPS...

I would prefer if you had a similar setup i.e full system, filter, PC3 and TRE.

edit: TPS - sub throttle position sensor

It has been debated alot here.

10speed swears it is fine without the adjustment.

I adjusted mine and never had a problem.
Use a map made for the tre or else you are wasting fuel at low rpms due to the adjustment.

The down side is that if you manage to damage the tps while adjusting it, you have to buy new throttlebodies @ $1200.00 give or take.

TPS not sold seperately.

I did this mod to mine when I installed the TRE, and it works great =)

The throttle response will be much crispier - so watch out !

What do you mean by the TPS? I just did the mod and I have a full system, K&N, PCIII, and yep just put the TRE in 2 weeks ago. Are you talking about the little throttle adjustment switch next to you left frame slider? I have had to play with mine a bunch sometimes when I go for a ride the bike will stall when coming to a stop with the clutch pulled in and the RPMs drop. I don't know why but I then will twist that little screw add more fuel and the bike idles around 1100 RPM. Is this what you are talking about?

I'm not fast I'm just faster than you
