Trail On the 2004/2005

Has anyone worked with altering the trail on their GEN1?

The 04 has 102mm of trail.

Theory says the more trail the better.(more stability)
I see the 2008 has 110mm of trail.

I see a triple clamp out of Italy (I think) that can go +4 -4.

Anyone fiddled with this setting?

Have yet to find reason to play with the rake and trail on my bike, i am running the attack racing triples and they did stiffen the front end up a bit more with no loss of feeling.
thinking after i get all my weight reductions and a 08 swingarm on my bike done i will start really working on dialing the bike in more (which will be with testing with the above)
