throttle fee play...

I was today at track and noticed that the throttle free play is too long...I slide the rubber from the wires but did not understand how to adjust the free play...try to turn the wire screw...but it did not work ???

Follow the cables down towards the frame/fairing. You will come across an adjustment screw/bolt type thing. I adjusted mine there and it worked great. It is really tight by the frame and fairing though, but some needle nosed pliers did the trick.

There are no adjusters up at the throttle, it would make sense to have some there......are you listening Kawi?

Theres 2 ways to make an adjustment for throttle play 1) remove tank/airbox and assoc parts and make the adjustment @ the throttle bodies push/pull while the other is as 05Ti10 mentioned.

that adjustment by the frame is a MF to get at.. stupid design IMO.

05 lime green. Sato slip-on, pc3usb, bmc race filter.
